Göran von Bonsdorff – Rauhanliikkeen veteraani täyttää 90 vuotta »

Suomalainen, satavuotias rauhanliike on monen ikäpolven liike. Rauhanliikkeen veteraani, kansainvälisen politiikan emeritusprofessori Göran von Bonsdorff täyttää maaliskuussa 90 vuotta.

Ydinaseet yleistyvät päivä päivältä - CND täytti 50 vuotta »

On vain ajan kysymys, milloin jokin ei-valtiollinen toimijakin saa ydinaseen haltuunsa. Intellektuaalisessa kamppailussa ydinaseriisunnan tärkeydestä rauhanliike on silti voiton puolella. Näin todettiin Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) -järjestön 50-vuotissyntymäpäivän kunniaksi järjestetyssä kansainvälisessä seminaarissa.

 

”Minusta tuntuu nyt, että me olemme voittaneet intellektuaalisen kamppailun ydinaseriisunnan välttämättömyydestä. Kysymys on nyt poliittisen tahdon mobilisoimisesta.”

Lapinjärven koulutuskeskuksen (LKK) eli valtakunnallisen siviilipalveluskeskuksen johtajana aloitti helmikuun alussa 43-vuotias filosofian tohtori Tiina Koivuniemi. Koivuniemi väitteli tohtoriksi  vuonna 2004 pääaineena aikuiskasvatus. Hän sanoo työskennelleensä oikeastaan koko elämänsä koulutuksen parissa. Koulutusvastaava Timo Virtala haastatteli uutta johtajaansa.
