Uusi työntekijä nuorisoprojektiin

Sadankomitean nuorisohankkeen projektisihteerinä aloitti 2.5. Elina Turunen. Elina on toiminutElina aiemmin erilaisissa kansalaisjärjestöjen hankkeissa. Erityisesti kiinnostuksen kohteina ovat olleet  ilmasto- ja energia- sekä kulutuskysymykset. Nuorten Luonto -lehden päätoimittaminen on myös työllistänyt viime aikoina.

Elina opiskelee Helsingissä neljättä vuotta pääaineenaan valtio-oppi ja mausteena kirjava joukko sivuaineina. Helsingistä kotoisin oleva aktiivi viettää tällä hetkellä mukavaa yhteisöelämää kuuden hengen voimin.

Nuorisohankkeessa järjestetään nelipäiväinen väkivallatonta kansalaistoimintaa käsittelevä leiri 2..­-5.8.2007  Turun Aurinkolahdessa. Kurssimaksu on 20 euroa ja se on suunnattu 16-30 -vuotiaille.

Leirillä pohditaan rauhan- ja ympäristöliikkeelle tärkeitä teemoja, kuten esimerkiksi ydinvoimaa ja -aseita, uraaninlouhintaa, pasifistisen toiminnan strategioita ja rauhankoulua

. Leirin teemojen pohjalta kootaan oppimateriaalipaketti.
